New single Je Ne Veux Pas (Live) by Vive la Fête was released today on all download and streaming platforms. The live version of the iconic title track of the band’s first ever EP was recorded in De Roma in Antwerp last year. The release marks the 25th anniversary of Vive la Fête.
Je Ne Veux Pas (Live) offers a preview of the upcoming album LIVE, due for release early 2023.
Besides the 2021 live version, the Je Ne Veux Pas single also features the original version (1998) of the song and the re-recorded version from the album Attaque Surprise (2000).
You can download the song for free from Bandcamp.
Vive la Fête was founded in 1997 when Danny Mommens (then still playing in his former band dEUS ) met Els Pynoo at a party. They recorded a few demo's and released many albums since.
Vive la Fête's live shows are energetic outbursts of electronic dance music, rock 'n' roll and the unique voice of Els Pynoo.
